Dr. Anjum Khera's passion for the medical field was sparked during her childhood as she watched her father, Dr. Abdul Ghani, a renowned ENT surgeon, work and help others. Dr. Khera is a graduate of Fatima Jinah Medical College in Lahore, Pakistan. In 1994, she completed her pediatric training at the Waterbury Hospital in Connecticut, which had affiliations with the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and Yale University School of Medicine. Upon completing her residency and prior to entering into private practice, she served as the Medical Director of the Pediatric Department at the Staywell Health Center in Waterbury, CT.

Dr. Khera is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at University of Connecticut Medical School and enjoys teaching medical students rotating at her office. In partnership with Eastern Connecticut Health Network (ECHN), she offers Residents the opportunity to perform clinical rotations at her office. 

Dr. Khera is a strong advocate of children's overall well-being. To provide the best possible healthcare experience for her patients, ABC Pediatrics is a recognized NCQA Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) Practice.

Dr. Khera is married to a practicing physician. They have two children together.

Chris has lived in New Hartford all of his life except for college and eight years as an officer in United States Army. He has been a certified pediatric nurse practitioner since 1996 after training at Duke University and Fort Bragg in North Carolina. He has adopted two children from Russia and is a published author. He enjoys reading ,fishing ,and hiking with the kids and his two Bassett honds. Special interests include infectious diseases in children and pediatric dermatology .   

Colleen is Family Nurse Practitioner with  a strong background in women's health, particularly in post partum care and newborn nursery. She earned her APRN degree from Southern Connecticut State University and has an expertise in breastfeeding support, newborn care, and guiding families through the early stages of parenthood. Colleen is passionate about providing compassionate, patient-centered care that empowers new mothers and their families. Outside her professional life, Colleen enjoys traveling with her husband and cherishing time with her loved ones.
